Membership
Mixers are networking events designed for members to meet and
build relationships with representatives from a variety of companies and
organizations. Once a month, a mixer is hosted by a Chamber member.
These events are great opportunities for members to showcase their business
location and network with others in an informal, relaxed setting.
CulpeperFest is the biggest event of the year. The festival provides
an exceptional opportunity to put your business on display for over 2200
attendees. This is a one-of-a-kind business expo with a live band and
all-you-can-eat food and beverages. Marketing packages are available for
this event.
The Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet is the
time of year when the Chamber recognizes the Small Business Person of the
Year and the Most Improved Business Location. Other highlights of the evening
are the presentations of the L. B. Henretty Memorial Outstanding Citizen Award
and the CulpeperFest Award of Excellence. The banquet features an entertaining
speaker and a silent auction of items donated by Chamber members. Marketing

Culpeper Leadshare Exchange Group is designed to assist
participants in expanding their business network. It is an active and structured
system for furnishing and receiving business referrals. Members meet weekly
to become acquainted with each other's businesses and to learn what kind
of client each is seeking. Leadshare's mission is to increase business through
network referrals, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity,

The Young Professionals Group is a meaningful networking group of dedicated, young professionals ranging in age from 25 - 40. The mission of the group is to create a platform for members to build relationships, develop professionally and contribute to the local community through specific activities.

The PEPPER OPEN Golf Tournament is an opportunity to bring corporate
leaders, management staff, employees and clients for a day of golf,
relaxation and fun with other business leaders in the community. Marketing

Small Business Seminars/Round Tables are offered from time-to-time
to provide information on topics that are of interest especially to smaller
businesses. The Chamber partners on these seminars with the Culpeper Department
of Economic Development and Culpeper Renaissance.
Candidate Forums are held for the Town Council and Board of Supervisor
candidates so members can learn more about issues and the people who are
running for office.
A Legislative Breakfast is held each year in December prior to the
next session of the General Assembly. Members of the community are invited
to present issues of concern to our Delegate and Senator.
The Community Leadership Development Program is designed to identify
potential leaders, educate participants about opportunities and challenges
in our region, bring potential leaders into contact with present leaders
and encourage discussion and debate, and develop a spirit of working together
for the benefit of the region. The programs consist of 8 sessions and an

The Business Industry and Education Breakfast is held prior to the
start of the school year. At this function, the Chamber partners with
the school system to welcome new school employees to our area. Businesses
are invited to set up a small display that will be viewed before and after
breakfast.
The Outstanding Agribusiness Award recognizes the achievement of an
outstanding agribusiness that has successfully contributed to the economic
stability of Culpeper. This award is usually presented in March of each
year.
